Kueh Jinyan Justin
Bachelor of Social Science, School of Social Sciences

Justin was an outstanding student and excelled in various competitions, including helping his team clinch third place globally in the United Nations Policy Hackathon on Model Provisions for Trade in Times of Crisis and Pandemic in Regional and other Trade Agreements (2020). He also placed as a finalist in the Circles' Hackathon (2019) and took first place in an essay competition hosted by the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the BigWig's Policy Jam.

Justin helped promote collegiality as a cofounder of the Politics, Law and Economics (PLE) Mentorship Programme at SMU which engages graduates of the nascent PLE major to offer guidance to their juniors on navigating the curriculum and provide advice regarding career development.

Justin worked with SPD, which serves people with disabilities and was a featured performer for SPD's 2019 Charity Show which raised $4.13 million. He also worked with the Health Promotion Board as an operations administrator and co-ordinated multiple stakeholders on sanitation protocols and operation flows in foreign worker dormitories during the COVID-19 outbreak.
