Wilson excelled in his studies and was placed on the Dean’s List in Academic Year 2020-21. Some of his award achievements include the Deloitte Meritorious Award/Dean’s List (Academic Years 2017-18 and 2018-19) and AGD Public Sector Finance Award (Academic Year 2018-19).

Wilson was in the sub-committee of SMU EYE Investment Club as a Research Analyst (Fundamental Analysis) from May 2017 to April 2018 and participated in competitions such as Institute Varsity Polytechnic Games and Singapore University Games in 2018. He also volunteered his time in the School of Accountancy’s Peer Tutors programme since Academic Year 2018-19 to provide academic assistance to weaker peers in their Accountancy modules via revision workshops.

Wilson was involved in the overseas community service project, Project Khmer Smiles (Phnom Penh), Cambodia in 2017 which enabled the children at the Center of Peace Orphanage in Phnom Penh to identify problems and innovate on viable solutions to help the community.
