Elijah was actively involved in SMU student life. He held several co-curricular activities’ leadership positions including the President of The Asia Private Equity Club @ SMU and SMU Intellectual Sports, leading his committees through various case competitions. He also participated and emerged as the champion in competitions such as SMC National Riichi Tournament and SMU Literati Poetry Competition.

The numerous University Student Life Awards that Elijah has clinched are a testament to his outstanding contributions. Elijah also dedicated time to help out in the School's outreach activities like Open House and shared his valuable experiences with prospective students.

He displayed collegiality and responsibility through his roles as a mentor under The Mentoring Circle and a teaching assistant for multiple courses.
